  1. Install the 'φ² Scanner' app: Search the Android market for 'φ² Scanner' ('phisq' or 'phi2' will work too). Install! or:
    Follow this link from your handset. or:
    Scan the barcode on the right.
  2. φ² Scanner will ask you to install the xzing barcode reader (φ² needs it to scan bar codes). Follow the instructions once you launch the app. Or download .apk file here.
  3. Scan, check-in, claim your mayorship!

For venue location, use any address you know that's nearby (e.g. Isafjordsgatan 22, Stockholm, Sweden). In some cases using just the city name works fine, but sometimes it won't be specific enough. (Still not finding your venue? Seems a little complicated? The FAQ explains the techie reasons why, using the venue ID instead below might help.)
